First Language in the World

Tamil is one of the ancient living languages in the world. It is the 1st Language declared as the Classical Language in Universe. There are 120 million people speaking Tamil Language around the World. It is the official language of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry (Pondicherry). It is also an official language in Sri Lanka and Singapore and has significant numbers of speakers in Canada, London, France, Malaysia, Mauritius, Fiji, and South Africa.

Thus it is proved that Tamil is the first and oldest language in the world. In ancient Tamil language goes back to the year 300 BC but its origins are said to trace back even further about 2500 BC. Thus Tamil language is still in use today. It is the language with cultural values.
